ED-45 – Eddy-current flaw detector

Eddy-current flaw detectors

The handheld instrument specifically designed for the detection of cracks and measurement of their depth, particularly effective at identifying stress-corrosive cracks within ferromagnetic metal constructions, even beneath layers of corrosion or protective coating.

This flaw detector facilitates the measurement of corrosive damage depth and protective coating thickness, combining magnetic and eddy-current methods for flaw detection. This unique feature allows users to inspect products with rough corroded surfaces and measure through varying thicknesses of insulating coating without requiring additional readjustment.
